Description

Test that weston is able to run, it can show popups and toolbar is able to show and launch installed applications.

Resources

  • A monitor connected to the testing target.

Execution Steps

  1. Only in case of an SDK image, switch to a new terminal and launch weston
    2. $ weston
  2. In case of HMI images this step is not required since Weston starts at boot
  3. Verify that a desktop shows in screen
  4. Verify that a list of applications is shown in the toolbar
  5. Verify that the "Weston Terminal" application icon is shown
  6. Click on the icon
  7. Verify that the "Weston Terminal" application is launched

Expected

Initially this test shows the Weston desktop with a toolbar containing icons.

When flying over the icon "Weston Terminal" a popup is show.

When clicking the icon "Weston Terminal" the application is launched.
