Description

Validate the vehicle daemon functionalities using the mock backends

Pre Conditions

  1. Ensure Rootfs is remounted as read/write.
    2. $ sudo mount -o remount,rw /
  2. Install dependencies
    3. $ sudo apt install rhosydd rhosydd-tools rhosydd-mock-backends
  3. Restart the system to restore the filesystem state to read-only before running the test.
    4. $ sudo reboot
  4. Clone the tests repository from another computer (Note that the branch being tested may change depending on the release, please make sure to clone the correct branch for the release in question):
    5. $ git clone --branch apertis/v2026dev1 https://gitlab.apertis.org/tests/rhosydd.git
  5. Copy the test directory rhosydd to the target device:
    6. $ DUT_IP=<device-ip>
    $ scp -r rhosydd user@$DUT_IP:
  6. Log into the target device:
    7. $ ssh user@$DUT_IP

Execution Steps

  1. Enter test directory:
    2. $ cd rhosydd
  2. Execute the following commands:
    3. $ ./rhosydd.sh

Expected

All tests should pass (ok). The output should be similar to:
