Description

Tests html5 video playback with GStreamer 1.0 in WebKit2GTK. This test opens an URL to stream video and audio using MiniBrowser.

Pre Conditions

  1. Clone the tests repository from another computer (Note that the branch being tested may change depending on the release, please make sure to clone the correct branch for the release in question):
    2. $ git clone --branch apertis/v2025dev2 https://gitlab.apertis.org/tests/webkit2gtk.git
  2. Copy the test directory webkit2gtk to the target device:
    3. $ DUT_IP=<device-ip>
    $ scp -r webkit2gtk user@$DUT_IP:
  3. Log into the target device:
    4. $ ssh user@$DUT_IP
  4. In case of an SDK image, switch to a new terminal and launch agl-compositor.
  5. Lilliput/LVDS touch screens must be connected to the respective targets

Execution Steps

  1. When executing the test on the target
  2. Run MiniBrowser with the path of the HTML as argument:
    3. $ /usr/lib/*/webkit2gtk-4.0/MiniBrowser webkit2gtk/video.html
  3. When testing on SDK launch the agl-compositor on a second terminal
  4. Open the web browser from the compositor menu

Expected

The video starts playing, with sound.
