Description

Test implementation of W3C touch events API in WebKit2GTK.


Resources

  • A touch-screen with multiple touch points.

Pre Conditions

  1. Clone the tests repository from another computer (Note that the branch being tested may change depending on the release, please make sure to clone the correct branch for the release in question):
  2. $ git clone --branch apertis/v2024 https://gitlab.apertis.org/tests/webkit2gtk.git
  3. Copy the test directory webkit2gtk to the target device:
  4. $ DUT_IP=<device-ip>
    $ scp -r webkit2gtk user@$DUT_IP:
  5. Log into the target device:
  6. $ ssh user@$DUT_IP
  7. In case of an SDK image, switch to a new terminal and launch agl-compositor.
  8. Lilliput/LVDS touch screens must be connected to the respective targets

Execution Steps

  1. When executing the test on the target
  2. Run MiniBrowser with the path of the HTML as argument:
  3. $ /usr/lib/*/webkit2gtk-4.0/MiniBrowser webkit2gtk/touchevents.html
  4. When testing on SDK launch the agl-compositor on a second terminal
  5. Open the web browser from the compositor menu

Expected

Check that when sliding more than one finger within the canvas, lines of different colors are drawn in the "Touch canvas", each finger with its own.

Check that when pressing and dragging using the mouse, a line is drawn in the "Mouse canvas".
